A Toledo Tradition Since 1953
Richard’s Music has proudly served the Toledo community for over 70 years. Originally established in 1953 as Bleckner’s Sheet Music and Accessories. The store evolved—expanding beyond sheet music and method books to include a wide selection of musical instruments. In 1980, it was renamed Richard’s Music, marking a new chapter in its growth.
Two years later, the store relocated from downtown to a larger, more accessible location on Central Avenue, providing more space and improved parking to better serve musicians, educators, and families across the region.
By the early 2000s, new management took over from daily operations. The original passion and commitment lives on—echoing in every note played on the instruments and in every conversation shared with a customer.
